Suad Skenderi

Suad Skenderi graduated Political science, International Relations and Journalism at FON University. During his studies he was a volunteer at the Humanitarian and Charitable Roma Association "Mesecina" - Gostivar and a club coordinator for the youth network "Blue Sky" supported by the British Council. In 2009, he was promoted as an assistant in the sector for Human Rights and Inter-ethnic relations at "Mesecina" - Gostivar. He implemented several projects related to inter-ethnic dialogue and Roma among the other ethnicities in Macedonia. Suad Skenderi is one of the first pioneers of community organizing in the Republic of Macedonia. Romano Avazi in 2012 was the first Roma civil movement with an aim for equal representation of Roma in the state and public administration. He successfully finished the "Roma Access Program" and enrolled for masters degree in the Political Science Department at the Central European University in Hungary - Budapest. His specializations in the field of political science are political representation of minorities, research methodology 

Elvis Shakjiri

Elvis Shakjiri is a graduated jurist and in the period from 2003 to 2010 he was a volunteer at the Roma NGO "Sonce" - Tetovo implementing several projects. From 2011 to 2012 he worked as a law consultant at the NGO "HOPS" - Skopje. From 2012 to 2013 he started working at the Initiative for Social Change "InSoC" - Skopje. Elvis Shakjiri by far has published an analysis on the journalism in Macedonia "Unprofessional journalism". In 2011 he started his master studies at the South East European University - Tetovo specializing criminal law. In 2012 he finished the "Roma English Language Program" while in 2013 he successfully finished the "Roma Graduate Preparation Program" at the Central European University in Hungary. Elvis currently is enrolled for masters studies at the Central European University studying Human Rights His future plans are of specialization are to finish judicial exam and be a successful lawyer.

Albert Memeti

Albert Memeti has graduated Economy in 2012 at the St. Cyril and Methodius specializing financial management in Skopje, Macedonia. During his studies he was a member at the Roma NGO "Sonce" - Tetovo where he implemented several projects in the period from 2006 to 2010. Albert Memeti has also worked in ProCredit Bank - Skopje as a information councilor in 2009. In 2012, he successfully finished the "Roma Access Program" at the Central European University in Hungary. He is an alumni of Central European University graduating Economic policy in Global Markets. His future plan is to further develop his specialization in the field of Economy

 

 

Nadire Redjepi

Nadire Redjepi is Roma from a traditional family where practicing the culture and maintaining the tradition are the key issues for family. She graduated at the South East European University specializing Business Administration in Tetovo. Since age 13, she is a member at the Roma NGO "Sonce" - Tetovo . In 2012, she was an intern at the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) - Skopje conducting the financial and administrative tasks. She has participated in several courses, seminars, competitions, fairs, performances and civic initiatives. In 2012, she was part of the Roma civil movement for equal representation of Roma in the state and the public administration. Nadire was a regional coordinator for the Tetovo region. Her future plans are to graduate at the Central European University in the field of Economic Policy in Global Markets and specialize in accounting and auditing.

Deniz Selmani

Deniz Selmani has graduated Public Administration at the South East European University in Tetovo. He continued his master studies at the same university specializing Diplomacy. During his studies he was a volunteer at the First Children's Embassy "Megjashi" - Skopje as a peace educatior in the "Nikola Karev" high school. After his Bachelor studies he worked at the Initiative for Social Change "InSoC" - Skopje as a project assistant in the project "Project Generation Fund" where he gains experience in project management. In 2012, he becomes part of the training team of Romano Avazi, the first Roma civil movement with an aim for equal representation of Roma in the state and public administration. He is currently enrolled for his master studies at the Political Science Department in the Central European University. His future plans are specializing in the field of Roma diplomacy for better representation

Sebijan Fejzula

Sebijan Fejzula has graduated at the St. Cyril and Methodius University - Skopje specializing Philosophy. In 2010, she receives the award "The Best Student" by the Roma Education Fund and USAID as a beneficiary of their programs. During her studies she becomes a project assistant at the USAID in Skopje working on the "Green Schools" project. The period from 2011 to 2012, she joins the Youth Education Forum - MOF as a financial and administrative assistant. Apart from these positions, she was a memeber in the coordination team of trainers of Ecumenical Network for Youth Action - Prague in the Young Roma Women's Network where women issues (Social Inclusion, Violence of Roma Women, Domestic Violence) are addressed through public events. She was one of the advocates for the status of the Roma women at the international Roma women's conference in Granada, Spain. She successfully graduated from the Central European University in the Department of Gender Studies specializing the status of Roma women. Her future plans are specializing in the field of representation of Roma women on international level
